Licence Activation
How to activate, deactivate, and manage your DPOKit licence key.
Licence Activation
Finding your licence key
After purchase you will receive a Welcome email containing your licence key. You can also find it in your customer dashboard under Licences.
Licence keys follow the format: pv_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Activating a licence
- In WordPress admin, go to DPOKit → Settings → Licence.
- Paste your licence key into the Licence Key field.
- Click Activate Licence.
DPOKit connects to the licence API, verifies the key, and records this site URL as an activation. On success you will see your tier, activation count, and expiry date.
Licence tiers and site limits
| Tier | Sites allowed |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro | 1 |
| Agency | Unlimited |
If you exceed the site limit for your tier, activation will be refused with a clear error message. Deactivate the licence on another site first, or upgrade your plan.
Deactivating a licence
To move your licence to a different site:
- Go to DPOKit → Settings → Licence on the site you want to remove.
- Click Deactivate Licence.
You can also deactivate from your customer dashboard by clicking Deactivate next to the site URL.
Offline / staging environments
DPOKit caches the last valid licence response for 7 days. If the licence API is unreachable (e.g. staging server with no outbound internet), the plugin continues operating normally during the grace period.
Licence checks on staging environments do not count against your activation limit if the site URL contains local, localhost, staging, dev, or test.
Renewing your licence
Licences are renewed automatically via Stripe. You will receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before expiry. If payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period before premium features are restricted.
To update your payment method, visit the billing portal.
